Stay & Play: Extended Getaway - A Sample Itinerary for Your Perfect Dog-Friendly Farmstay Experience

Day 1: Arrival at Home and Hound in the afternoon, where you and your furry friends will be greeted by the serene countryside and the warm hospitality of our farmstay. Enjoy a leisurely evening exploring our spacious grounds, designated dog exercise areas, and interacting with our friendly farm animals.

Day 2: Albany Adventure Depart for Albany in the morning and explore the historic Whaling Station, Princess Royal Fortress, and the iconic Albany Wind Farm. After a day of exploration, return to the comfort of Home and Hound in the evening.

Day 3: Discovering Denmark Head to Denmark in the morning to experience the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, Elephant Rocks, and Greens Pool—a perfect blend of nature's wonders. Visit Denmark Animal Farm & Pentland Alpaca Stud for a delightful afternoon before returning to your cozy cottage at Home and Hound.

Day 4: Embark on an early morning adventure to climb Bluff Knoll, experiencing the breathtaking views from its summit. In the afternoon, head to the enchanting Porongurup Range for hiking trails and the famous Castle Rock. Discover the unique landscapes and enjoy the serenity of this natural wonder. Return to Home and Hound in the evening

 

Day 5 A leisurely farewell morning allows you to bid adieu to our friendly farm animals before departing for Perth in the afternoon, filled with cherished memories of your dog-friendly farmstay adventure.

Note: This is just a small selection of the things on offer in the region, it didn't even include any wineries! Its pretty squishy to get it all into even a 5 days trip, and doesnt include seasonal attractions such as wildflower walks, or the art trail, so bear that in mind when planning your vacation.
